Harrison prides himself on a solid foundation in piano technique and a diverse knowledge of music. His main interest is in jazz, but he is very knowledgeable in all styles. Harrison always strives for a balance of fundamentals, technique, classical repertoire, and fun for his students. Usually his students choose their own “fun” pieces, and they always have input as far as their weekly regiment. He focuses on not only teaching students how to play the piano, but how to set and accomplish their own goals. Harrison thoroughly enjoys teaching and working in schools, making music a positive experience for students young and old!
